About Rev. Brown

Rev. Adrian Brown is a native of Kansas City, Missouri. Rev. Brown was baptized at the Metropolitan AME Zion Church in Kansas City, Missouri and this is where he professed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Rev. Brown was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Public School District and earned his diploma from Central High School 2001.

Rev. Brown was ordained deacon and elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church in the Oklahoma Annual Conference under Bishop Mildred B. Hines. While serving in the Oklahoma Annual Conference he was the Pastor-in-Charge of the Witnessing AME Zion Church – Tulsa, Oklahoma and held leadership roles within the Oklahoma Annual Conference.

Rev. Brown moved to Oklahoma in 2001 to attend Langston University. Rev. Brown is an Alumnus of Langston University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Management in 2007.

Rev. Brown was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. through the Beta Kappa Chapter on November 09, 2002. While a member of the Beta Kappa Chapter, Rev. Brown served in many fraternal leadership capacities including; Director of Educational Activities and was privileged to serve as chapter president in 2005.

In 2011, Rev. Brown earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Moreover, while a resident in Oklahoma, Rev. Brown began his pursuits as a seminary student at Saint Paul School of Theology at Oklahoma City University in the Master of Divinity (MDiv) program. To date, Rev. Brown has completed 30 hours of seminary training towards the MDiv degree. Currently, Rev. Brown is employed with the City of Denton as a Buyer in the purchasing department.

Currently, Rev. Brown is a newly transferred clergyman to the Texas Annual Conference under the current Presiding Prelate Bishop Michael A. Frencher, Sr. and is a member of and serves on the ministerial staff at the Saint Mark AME Zion Church.

In Rev. Brown’s spare time, he likes to: watch movies, attend comedy shows, enjoy the company of his family, friends, fraternity brothers, traveling, loves to serve others through community service projects, volunteering and mentoring.

Rev. Brown loves to serve God’s people, preach the Word of God and loves seeing people progress on the journey of life. Rev. Brown stand of Matthew 28:18-20;

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go [a]therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” [b]Amen.
